Melanie Bowden holds the position of VP, Senior Wealth Manager at Bar Harbor Wealth Management. She joined the organization in 1985 and works in our Ellsworth, Maine office.
Melanie studied marketing, accounting, and business management at Castleton State College and Husson College. She then graduated from New England School of Banking’s Wealth Management Program at Williams College, and obtained banking certifications from the American Institute of Banking. Furthermore, she holds her Series 65 and Series 7 licensing for investment advising and securities sales.
With over three decades of financial industry experience and expertise in Trust and Individual Retirement Account administration, Melanie serves clients throughout Mount Desert Island and Ellsworth, Maine. She began her career as the department’s Operations Assistant Manager prior to transitioning into her current role.
