Ruth Dunbar holds the position of VP, Senior Wealth Manager at Bar Harbor Wealth Management. She joined the organization in 2016 and works in our Bangor, Maine office.
Ruth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Maine. She is also a Cannon Trust School graduate, and completed Estate Planning coursework through Husson University. Prior to joining our organization, Ruth held similar positions at People’s United Bank and Bangor Savings Bank.
With over three decades of financial industry experience, Ruth has developed an expertise in Supplemental Needs Trusts and Charitable Giving. She supports clients throughout the state of Maine by providing investment management solutions to meet their goals. Ruth also offers tax, financial, retirement, and estate planning.
Previously, Ruth supported her community volunteering as Board Chair of Eastern Maine Community College Foundation.
