Portland, Maine (February 25, 2026) – Mike Del Tergo has joined Bar Harbor Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, as Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager. In this role, he provides investment management for Bar Harbor Wealth Management clients including individuals, families, nonprofits, and municipalities.
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He worked as a U.S.-based economist for Canada’s Department of Finance, and spent more than 15 years as a Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager for Key Private Bank. For the past 12 years, he served as a Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager at Bangor Savings Bank.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree at Boston University and a master’s in business administration from Northeastern University. He earned his Chartered Trust and Fiduciary Advisor certification from the Cannon Financial Institute, and his Certified Investment Management Analyst certificate from the Wharton School. Mike also has certifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst and as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
Mike is a board member of the Maine CFA Society, an investment committee member with Maine Audubon, and has served in a variety of board roles with Sweetser, a nonprofit community mental health provider.
Mike lives with his wife, Sarah, in Falmouth, Maine.
