About Aaron
Aaron M. Small holds the position of VP, Mortgage Loan Originator at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. He joined the Bank in 2022 and is based out of our Bar Harbor, Maine, office.
A graduate of Ellsworth High School, Aaron earned an associate of science degree in Business and Administration from Middlesex Community College. Prior to joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Aaron held the role of Loan Officer at CUSO Home Lending and at Inlata/Alpine Mortgage. Additionally, Aaron served in the United States Air Force for six years as a Staff Sergeant.
Aaron has over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. His areas of expertise within home lending include supporting borrowers throughout the home lending process from application through closing, and assisting them in finding the right home lending solution for their goals. Aaron supports customers throughout Mount Desert Island, Ellsworth, and Downeast Maine communities.
An active member of the community, Aaron is a volunteer with Lynde Lodge #174 and a counsel representative for Boy Scout Troop 25 in Hermon, Maine.
