About Hillary
Hillary Carter holds the position of Mortgage Loan Originator at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. She joined the Bank in this role in 2025, and is based out of our Ellsworth, Maine, office.
Hillary brings more than 25 years of banking experience, and previously worked for Bar Harbor Bank & Trust from 2000-2017. After leaving the Bank, she continued her career in residential mortgage underwriting, working at Camden National Bank and most recently Norway Savings Bank.
Hillary holds an associate degree in business management from Eastern Maine Community College and has completed banking coursework through the Northern New England School of Banking. She also earned a certificate in Appraisal Review Analysis from Mortgage Review Solutions.
