About Jack
Jack K. Farmer holds the position of VP, Mortgage Loan Originator at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. He joined the Bank in 2022 and is based out of our Bangor, Maine, office.
A graduate of Sumner Memorial High School, Jack earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Husson University. Prior to joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Jack served as Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage; Vice President, Mortgage Loan Officer at Machias Savings Bank; and Mortgage Loan Originator at Universal Mortgage Corp.
Jack has over 21 years of experience in the financial services industry. He particularly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers. In his current role, Jack serves customers in Central Maine, with a focus on the communities of Bangor, Brewer, and Newport.
An active member of the community, Jack volunteers with MaineStream Finance, where he currently serves as a member of their Loan Committee.
